In order to maximise the impact of its activities, JRS-Belgium participates in the following coordinating networks and initiatives:

·        CIRÉ (Coordination et initiatives pour et avec les réfugiés et étrangers): JRS-Belgium is represented on the policy committee of this French-speaking coordinating body.

·        Vluchtelingenwerk Vlaanderen: JRS-Belgium is represented on the Algemene Vergadering (General Assembly) of this Dutch-speaking coordinating body.

·        FAM (Forum asile et migrations): JRS-Belgium is a member of this national platform of 100 organisations. FAM's mission is to develop more humane asylum and migration policies.

·        CBAR (Comité belge pour l'aide aux réfugiés): JRS-Belgium takes part in the monthly liaison meetings organised by CBAR. Representatives of the public authorities (the immigration office, the Commissariat général aux réfugiés et aux apatrides, the Commission permanente de recours des réfugiés, foreign affairs, Fedasil) and other bodies (The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, and the International Organization for Migration) meet third sector representatives.

·        ECRE (European Council on Refugees and Exiles): several JRS-Belgium projects are supported by the European Refugee Fund.

·        International Detention Coalition: JRS-Belgium is a member of this coalition.
